Built in 1892, The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa’s imposing atrium stands as a bastion of American finery in downtown Denver. Enter a bygone era, ivories tinkling as you discover six unique dining venues and a boutique Spa and Salon. The Beatles once stayed here, as did the famously “Unsinkable” Denver local, Molly Brown, just one week after surviving the Titanic disaster. Lean into the theme by donning your glad-rags for the resplendent afternoon tea, a Denver institution with bubbly, English tea and homemade scones. If you can, splurge on Top of the Brown premium digs for a lie down afterwards: lavish apartment-like accommodations with city views. Presidential Suites are named after esteemed visits by U.S. Presidents; The Eisenhower’s double bathroom boasts marble top to bottom, while The Roosevelt has a refined corner study.
