Albion House Kent

“Following a very recent renovation, original features of this magnificent building have now been combined with modern luxuries. Bedrooms are elegantly decorated and spacious. A magnificent bar with sea views and an exquisite restaurant menu. Log fires and afternoon teas. Seaside elegance.”

Photo of Albion House

“Built in 1791, the history of Albion House is rich and colourful. Princess Victoria stayed here shortly before she was crowned Queen and both Turner and Van Gogh have famously painted in this area. Having undergone a careful and thorough restoration in 2014, this deluxe home boasts magnificent views. Watch the sun rise and set from Albion House whilst in the comfort of the hotel's spacious lounge. Some of the bedrooms and suites also have sea views, but all are elegantly and simply decorated. Original parquet floors, vintage mirrors and all-marble bathrooms with rain showers. Take afternoon walks along the infamous beach before returning to a sumptuous afternoon tea. This is British Seaside elegance at its best.”

Albion House hotel, Ramsgate, Kent: review

All the rooms have charm, including a smallish one in which Princess Victoria slept, but the front facing ones are fabulous, with marvelous views.
