“We love this auberge tucked away beside the church in a village outside Geneva but only 20 minutes from the centre by the regular buses that leave from just down the road. Rooms are comfortable, if not particularly luxurious, some with wonderful views of the Salève mountain, others with a balcony overlooking the ‘place’. The restaurant terrace is a well-known local attraction, and busy all summer, despite the somewhat garish décor, and the bar is cosy in winter. Definitely worth considering if you want peace and quiet but easy access to Geneva.”
