“Part of a small group of six hotels, the Kipling is a pleasure to walk into. Bright, modern and airy, the décor is an updated version of the colonial look, with mini-bars hidden in faux cabin trunks and furniture to match. Rooms and suites are impeccable and the latter have kitchenettes and Nespresso machines. Unusually in Geneva, wifi is free (in all the group hotels) and parking is available (needs to be reserved). What’s more, the marketing director of one of the grandest lakeside palaces books his friends into the Kipling when they are in town.”
