The Angel Bury St Edmunds

“Set in the old market town of Bury St Edmunds this is an impressive historic hotel. The rooms are contemporary yet still have a traditional feel. The restaurant serves up high quality British fare. The pretty town and nature parks offer great walks. The perfect weekend getaway.”

“A historic hotel that's played host to the likes of Charles Dickens and King Louis Philippe of France in it's former days. Now the 80 rooms have a more contemporary feel with free standing copper baths and lavish beds (some rooms have four posters). This impressive hotel is set on a beautiful square opposite the Abbey gardens which are ideal for a romantic walk. The hotel restaurant the 'Eaterie' has a modern British menu using seasonal produce and the bar offers up a great cocktail menu including the 'Curious Charles' who's ingredients change each night. Artworks throughout the hotel show the owners passion for collecting art and design. This hotel has it all for a weekend getaway. ”
