“Located in Bristol’s charming cobbled harbour quarter, within ambling distance of theatres, art galleries, waterfront restaurants and night life, this large contemporary hotel makes for a great central base. Guests get to use the NCP car park next door for free which is an added boon. The hotel is part of 8 “urban havens”, all different but privately owned by the Irish Doyle family and has in recent years undergone a £14 million refurbishment. The popular restaurant serves brasserie-style food overlooking the river in what can be described as a buzzy area. Neutral-coloured generously-proportioned rooms are spotlessly clean with large comfortable beds, sumptuous bed linen, jewel-coloured silk cushions and velvet throws. Details such as chocolates on the pillow add a personal touch. Staff are young and helpful and for a city hotel you are blissfully unaware of any traffic. ”

“Why do people love staying in your hotel?
People love the friendliness and helpfulness of our staff. If they need assistance with choosing a cocktail, selecting a dinner dish, or finding a nearby location someone is happily on hand to assist them. Add a great location and a superb product to the mix and you have a hotel that can’t be beaten
What is there to do in the area?
Being located on the harbourside in the centre of the city puts the hotel at the heart of a thriving creative hub, with a short walking distance to cultural pursuits such as The Bristol Hippodrome, the Theatre Royal the Arnolfini art gallery and the M-Shed Museum, or local attractions including SS Great Britain, the Bristol Aquarium and At-Bristol. For shopping, choose between Cabot Circus which features all the latest high street brands or Park Street and Clifton village with small independent shops and lovely boutiques.
