Bermuda’s Best Beach Hotels
Bermuda is one of the classic tropical island beach holiday destinations. It’s known for its palest-of-peach coloured sand; its calm, warm, aquamarine waters; its beautiful but deadly reefs; and its bougainvillea-framed mansions, painted in a gelato-coloured rainbow. By all means dive, fish, sail, and stroll the museums and galleries, but this is also a perfect spot for sitting on the beach - and there are a myriad of idyllic beaches to choose from. Lots of people put Horseshoe Bay at the top of their ‘best beaches on Bermuda list’, but Elbow Beach is also gorgeous. Most of the beaches on the ‘best of’ list are along Bermuda’s southern shore, and that’s one of the best places to look for Bermuda’s best beach hotels too. Southampton and Somerset are other good areas to consider. These, and the island’s capital, Hamilton, are also great places to look for family-friendly hotels, and all-inclusive resorts, while luxurious, or romantic options are dotted along the coastline, or close to Mount Pleasant or Tucker’s Town.
