Hotel Review
A friendly, welcoming 17th century inn situated in an historic market town. The inn overlooks St Mary’s church and its tranquil churchyard which leads to the attractive river Lune and Ruskins View (painted by Turner). The wooden beamed bar buzzes with locals and walkers and Mark and Lucy Fuller’s caring hospitality and award winning menu attracts many others to the more formal modern restaurant. The mix of contemporary and traditional style continues upstairs in the recently refurbished and very comfortable 11 bedrooms and bathrooms.
