About Vilnius

Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offers a unique blend of history and modernity, with its charming Old Town filled with cobbled streets, grand churches, and palaces. Whether you're after budget-friendly spots or luxurious design hotels, Vilnius has it all. For a traditional experience, stay in the Old Town where many hotels occupy historic buildings, offering character and charm. If you prefer something modern, look to areas like Užupis for bold, contemporary stays. There's something for every traveller!

This is a city full of surprises, with its stunning blend of architectural styles, especially the Baroque, which gives it a unique vibe that feels a bit like a Jesuit town in Latin America, but with a distinct Lithuanian twist. When you're wandering around the Old Town, don't miss landmarks like Sts. Peter & Paul’s Church, St. Anne’s Church, and the House of Signatories – each one offering a glimpse into the city’s rich history. If you're into culture, the KGB Museum and the Vilnius Museum of Illusions are definitely worth a visit. And if you need a break from sightseeing, the Bernadine Gardens offer a quiet escape for a relaxing picnic.

For a bit of adventure outside the city, a trip to Trakai is a must. It’s home to a beautiful castle and is only 28 km from Vilnius. If you're up for more exploring, Europos Parkas, an open-air museum with over 100 sculptures by famous artists, is just a short 19 km away. It’s easy to make the most of both spots while soaking up the vibe of the surrounding nature.
