  • Fly to Athens International Airport and travel 40 minutes by bus or taxi from there. Many hotels will be happy to arrange an airport pick-up in advance.

  • Expect hot summers, with temperatures reaching around 25 - 30°C between June and August, which is also peak season. Remember that summers - particularly during the school holidays - can be hugely busy with holidaymakers from Athens on this stretch of the coast.
