About Andros Island

Andros Island, the largest and least-crowded gem of the Bahamas, is a dream for travellers seeking untouched beauty and world-class diving. With its turquoise waters, vast wetlands, and access to the planet’s third-largest barrier reef, this island offers hotels for every vibe—from laid-back B&Bs in Andros Town to breezy beach resorts perfect for families or luxury escapes. For easy access to dive spots, base yourself near Nicholl’s Town, while secluded lodges in South Andros promise peace, privacy, and postcard-worthy sunsets. Whether you’re travelling with family, friends, or just your partner, Andros has a laid-back, off-the-beaten-track charm that’s hard to beat. The best spots to stay are right on the beach, where evenings mean stargazing with your feet in the sand or gathering around a campfire with live music drifting through the night air.

Andros Island is a dream for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. You can explore the vibrant ecosystems of the Blue Holes National Park or the vast West Side National Park, where guided hikes, boat trips, diving, and snorkelling let you experience the island’s incredible wildlife above and below the water. It’s also a top fishing destination, so keen anglers won’t leave disappointed. Between kayaking through calm waters, basking on untouched beaches, and tucking into freshly caught seafood, every day feels like its own little adventure.
