Hotel Review
Henry's House is a "one off". Family owned and run (and by family, we mean family - brothers, sisters, mother, father - everyone is involved), it is a charming small hotel, overlooking the Med on the little island of Ortigia. It's a rabbit warren of rooms, which whilst not the roomiest in town, are certainly the most strikingly decorated. Antique furniture sits beside brash, modern pieces of artwork, and colours are quirky, but the seaviews are to die for. And sundowners on the roof terrace don't get much better. Breakfast is a tad modest, but that's not really why you're here....it's all about the location! Henry's House is the perfect base from which to explore the over the top baroque architecture of Ortigia, without having to make your way to Syracuse. From here you are free to explore at your leisure and gape in awe at the sights around!
