Alison has taught for the last twenty-plus years in one of Scotland's leading private schools, following a year's sabbatical in Vancouver and a career in London spanning the City, Television and Advertising. She is now based in Kenya at Pembroke House School in the Rift Valley, having returned to the classroom. Travel has always been an important part of Alison's life, and she has sampled a range of hotels (both good and bad) across the globe.
