Hotel Review
This small refurbished country house is traditional from the outside and modern within. It is ideal for setting off further up to the broadest part of the Andes range. Set 1400 metres above sea level, Finca Valentina is owned by the charismatic and personable ex-Milanese banker Fabrizio, who attracts many top celebrities including the Prada family. In the main house, there are five lovely bedrooms beautifully decked out with all featuring under floor heating and every kind of pampering luxury you can imagine. Close by the main house is a small private house. There is a handy swimming pool and large gardens. A different menu is on offer every day with carefully chosen wine from the local valleys. A perfect base for the mountains, but don't miss Salta - there's plenty for culture vultures there too.
