Hotel Review

Having rescued this lovely old stone building at the beginning of the Millienium, the local Mikulic family have lovingly transformed it into a charming small boutique heritage hotel. The emphasis here has been on careful restoration and they have kept as many period features as possible including the original exposed stone walls. These have been complemented with carfeully chosen furnishings and fabrics and the result is six spacious, individually designed rooms, each with its own personality but all with the same high standard of finish — think polished hard wood floors, smart modern bathrooms and antique style beds. Downstairs the property continues in the same vein, and it's here that you'll find the excellent Stari Kapetan (or Old Captain) Restaurant. Whether you dine inside, or out on the gorgeous terrace overlooking the sea, you can expect delicious gourmet dishes, which are crafted from the freshest local seafood and organic produce. The family have been in the hospitality game for decades, and as you can imagine they've honed their customer service skills to perfection. If you're looking for a grown-up boutique hideaway in a slightly off-the-beaten-track location on the Adriatic coast, Hotel Adriatic Orebic will hit the spot.

It is arranged to look like a ship’s lounge, and provides guest special ambient. You can enjoy breakfast for two, lunch overlooking the endless blue sea or a romantic dinner by candlelight, while being on a replica of sailing ship from the XVII century. The owners are true lovers of nature and healthy living, accordingly, all offered in the restaurant meets their criteria. All that and more with warm welcome from the owners awaits You in the restaurant ‘Old Captain’.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? Hotel rooms are decorated with care and taste. Special attention was paid to every detail. We kept all historical features, and carefully choose furniture, fabrics and accessories so that every room is original and different from others. And still all of them reflect the same comfort and charm. They are decorated in a luxurious way: some have a baldachin, some have a balcony, all overlooking the sea. Our rooms are named after sailing ships on which Orebic’s captains sailed long time ago. The most popular room type is our Deluxe room Paulina, because there is a rosette in that room, which shows that it used to be a church.

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? We are adults only hotel.
