“Glamping has never been so glamourous at this eco-retreat. Twelve luxurious safari tents sit amongst eucalyptus and paperbark trees, each with a deck area or veranda. There's a restaurant and communal kitchen on the premises, and free bikes and canoes available for exploring the area.”

Hotel Review

Irena and Jeremy Hutchings opened Paperbark Camp in 1999, the ultimate glamping experience in New South Wales. Set in 100 acres of untouched bush and creek land, with the magnificent Jervis Bay only seven kilometres away, the couple have worked hard to lovingly create a superb and award winning eco-resort. Twelve safari style tents sit on stilts under eucalyptus and paperbark trees and have flaps that can be opened up to enjoy the stunning setting and sea breeze. All are solar powered with an ensuite toilet and shower, and kitted out with organic toileteries. Free bikes and canoes are available, and are the best way to explore the creek and surrounding area. For self-caterers there’s a communal kitchen, but don’t miss out on eating at the treetop Gunyah restaurant, where all the food is organic, free range and locally sourced – not to mention absolutely delicious.
