• Amangalla, the most luxurious of the Fort's hotels, is an imposing white-painted building just along from the Dutch Reformed Church. • The Fort Printers, once a boys' school and later a print shop, has a chic, minimalist style. Guest rooms and suites have creaky floorboards, big beds and views over red-tiled rooftops.
