Hotel review

This is no ordinary ski chalet. This sumptuous hotel offers a welcome dose of luxury to the ski holiday. The rooms are simply gorgeous: faux fur throws, soft brown suede sofas and wooden panelled walls, without a hint of Alpine cliche. The piece de resistence of this hotel is undoubtedly the Cristal Spa. The scrubs and facials are excellent, and the sauna and pool facilities are faultless. The bar area is buzzy yet intimate, set amongst stone walls and low lighting. Dinner is also a treat, with either a 'light' or 'gastronomic' menu on offer depending on your apres-ski appetite. A cut above the rest when it comes to a hotel on the slopes.
