Hotel Review

With just four immaculate and elegant rooms, Casa Titta in the Isola district of Milan is very much a home-from-home. Run by Domitilla, a former lawyer who bought the apartment with inheritance from her grandmother as a place to display her wonderful antique furniture and use her antique linens, you will be treated like an important friend who’s come to stay. Occupying the top floor of an old art deco building, with a classic wooden elevator, the real trump card is the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast of home-made bread and cake and look out over the Milan skyline. A shared mini kitchen area is well stocked with teas, coffees and biscuits and a fridge with aperitifs and soft drinks.

Why do people love staying in your hotel?
Because:
• it’s personal, and combines comfort of a hotel with pleasure of a home.
• it’s extremely well connected by public transport to all points of interest in the city

What is there to do in the area or on site?
Walk across the most lively and interesting areas of the city (including very recent architecture of Garibaldi Porta Nuova, piazza Gae Aulenti, Corso Como) all the way to Duomo (40 minutes walk). Pleasant night life (Blue Note, Alcatraz), very good choice of restaurants (family, Italian, trendy, ethnic, etc....)

What kind of breakfast do you offer?
Italian breakfast with Moka coffee or good selection of teas, homemade bread, simple cake, biological jams made of old varieties of fruits. Upon request eggs or salty things (Chinese guest was served with dumplings and chopsticks) ... whenever possible I do my best to make my guests feel at ease.

Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
I recommend several places within walking distance.

Which are your most popular room types, and why?
Jade and Cobalt rooms are very much appreciated but my preferred is Sand Room because of its African tone... also it’s the only one to have a bathtub instead of a shower (top of the list for Japanese clients for this reason).

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ?
I can fit extra beds or a cot into the rooms. Plus I have a few games to play with.
