“An all-singing five star resort, tucked into a serene cove on Sardinia’s south coast and surrounded by mature planting. Bright and breezy rooms looking out to sea, with a calming neutral pallet, or your own private villa. Fresh flavours of the Mediterranean served all day long right by the water. ”

Hotel review

Run by the South Tyrolean hotel group Falkensteiner, this beachfront property occupies an idyllic setting in a protected marine area, a ten-minute drive from the little town of Villasimius. Sardinia has always been at the centre of commercial and cultural exchanges thanks to its central position in the Mediterranean, evidenced by the Moroccan-style architecture, but otherwise the experience here is resolutely Italian. Artisanal pizza and gelato abound while, at the buffet-style restaurant, chefs knock up fresh pasta dishes and spit-roast meats for al fresco dining on the terrace, an homage to the Italian piazza. Rooms are chic and spacious, with white walls and Moorish accents such as terrazzo bathrooms. With attentive staff and ample diversions for adults and children, including multiple pools plus spa, gym, kids club, petting farm and outdoor cinema. Guests may find little reason to stray beyond the confines of the resort.
