The only Relais et Châteaux member in town and still family-owned, the Cigogne is superbly appointed, with a mix of carefully-chosen antique and modern furniture, reflecting the close involvement of the owners. The rooms are spacious, each with its own décor and many with a working fireplace, and the duplex suites are exquisite. Staff are charming and the bar/restaurant, which doubles as a breakfast room, has a clubby feel and a delicious menu. Guests get complimentary membership at nearby Holmes Place, valet parking and free wifi.
