Taking pole position in the newly constructed Cityscape development in Phoenix, the Kimpton Palomar is its flagship luxury hotel. Opened in 2012 the hotel is sleek modernity outside, cool and spacious inside, with paintings, installations and sculpture giving an edge of humour and vitality. Its concept echoes the city itself - Phoenix has a vibrant arts scene and is a foodie paradise. Rooms are generously sized and comfortable, with great city views. Bathrooms are similarly spacious and all feature powerful showers, fluffy bathrobes and complimentary bath products by Atelier Bloem. Dining at the Palomar is a real pleasure - the food, Southwestern style with an international twist, is outstanding. Enjoy chef Sean Currid’s creations in the Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails, a welcoming space where expert bartenders complement the food with hand crafted cocktails. Or dine and drink poolside at the rooftop Lustre Bar, a spacious terrace overlooking the city which invites with sunloungers and a sparkling pool. If fitness is your thing, head for the EOS fitness centre next door - complimentary for Palomar guests. You'll find state of the art equipment, cardio machines, free weights and resistance machines, for a fantastic workout with amazing downtown views. Or grab one of the Palomar's free red bikes for some exploring! Phoenix is a city with lots to offer: theatres, Phoenix Art Museum, Chase Field ballpark, Talking Stick Resort Arena, the Arizona Science Center and the Children's Museum of Phoenix. The Palomar has got it all really - great location, stylish accommodation and excellent food.
