A dimly-lit street romantically heralds this hotel and its full view of the lake and Monte Isola, a 5-minute ferry journey away. Hotel Rivalago is twenty years old, family-owned and a beautifully renovated period building. Some of the hotel’s 40 Rooms have lakeside views. All are intimate and cosy in their light blue and cream décor: a soft, harmonious palette which picks up the freshness of the foyer. Such classical Italian flair with rich fabrics, floor-to-ceiling linen curtains, hardwood floors and antique furniture. Decidedly tasteful and relaxing. 

An elegant lawn, with palm trees shading a variety of seating options to fit the hour, slopes towards the lake. The heated outdoor swimming pool beckons and swimmers and canoers launch from the floating pontoon. Lunch at the hotel’s La Colazione consists of a confident menu that includes grilled fish and tropical salads. Sit on a velvet seat under a glass veranda overlooking the lake and the mountains with their sloping grass meadows and steep Alpine ravines. So dreamy and mesmerising right on the water’s edge.

Why do people love staying in your hotel? The hotel has a splendid position with the garden which goes gently to the lake and with  a stunning view.
What is there to do in the area? The island ( Montisola) is the main attraction here, together with the beautiful path for walking. 
What kind of breakfast do you offer? Our breakfast is our plus! We offer an italian/ continental breakfast with many fresh fruit and products as cheese, ham of our region.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We do offer meals, lunch and dinner. There are several restaurant at the island.
Which are your most popular room types, and why? The most popular one is the junior suite lake view and terrace.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? We can fix a third bed or a cot. But we have to honestly say it is not really a family hotel.
