“A modern boutique hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with a laid-back, artistic vibe. The eclectic decor features playful, bold designs and plenty of natural light. Enjoy Mediterranean dining, a rooftop bar, and several flexible spaces for work or play. Perfect for city exploration.”

Hotel review

High energy is part of the Moxy brand, and the Williamsburg outpost channels the area’s creative buzz. Mesiba serves hearty Levantine plates, Bar Bedford is an all-day café and cocktail stop, Jolene Sound Room has a custom sound system, and LilliStar rooftop delivers knockout skyline views. Even the free morning coffee is surprisingly good, sending you toward the neighbourhood’s endless boutiques, bars, clubs, and Smorgasburg, the huge Saturday waterfront food market (October-April). It’s a fantastic location for discovering young, artsy New York beyond Manhattan.

As with all Moxys, the smallest rooms are tiny but cleverly designed - they’re fine for travellers who pack light and explore all day, just needing a crash pad (or somewhere to freshen up before going out again). Everything’s modern and clean, and the beds are great. Weekend nights can get loud, so light sleepers should request a quiet room (though we had no trouble). Staff are genuinely kind, and shared spaces like the lobby, bar, garden, and Brooklyn’s first hotel pickleball court are fun to explore. Perfect if you’re in town to party, or a bleisure traveller who wants to work, wander, then let off steam.
