Located on the rue de la Paix, right between the jewellers of De Beer, Cartier and Tiffany, close to the Galeries Lafayette department store and the top fashion houses on Rue Saint-Honoré; the Park Vendome is at the epicentre of haute couture. The hotel has kept its original facade, creating a strong sense of exclusivity and a wonderfully refined atmosphere. 5000 delightfully expressive bronze figurines, by Roseline Granet, adorn the entire hotel.
Follow along the golden-lit ‘infinity corridor’ of mirrors, itself a work of art, to the sumptuous rooms. More artisan and styled than its sister Hyatt Hotel du Louvre, it’s all about the use of light and mirrors. The ambient interiors have a warm, neutral and gold palette. The plushest of carpets, the most luxurious of textures and fabrics, and the finest of finishings radiate elegance in each room. The marble bathrooms even have heated floors.
The hotel’s Café Jeanne is at the heart of the hotel and with its glass roof and mirrored concave bar, it resembles a glittering oyster shell. A confident menu flows freely at this all-day brasserie. There’s also Pur, a Michelin starred restaurant and the immaculate and tranquil Spa La Mer, for the indulgent types. There’s even ‘Park’ a quarterly magazine full of what’s ‘au courant en Paris’! Such timeless elegance with contemporary sophistication.
