Romantik Hotel Gmachl Salzburg, Austria

Open since 1334, the Gmachl is Austria’s oldest family-run hotel. But this retreat on the edge of Salzburg is not stuck in the past. Across from the original hotel and restaurant is the bright new Klosterhof annexe, with its state-of-the-art spa. No wonder stars from the summer festival stay here.
