Just west of Broadway, Romer is a welcome reprieve from Times Square chaos. Designed by women-owned Islyn Studio, the 350 sq ft corner king rooms feel like wandering into a local legend's home: velvet couches, custom furniture, art by neighbourhood residents, and handily, a steamer. Hell's Kitchen Neighborhood Café serves all-day dishes and coffee, transforming into a casual evening spot. The Study offers fireplace-lit co-working with strong Wi-Fi, local brews, and wine.

So & So's Piano Bar is the real draw, a discrete supper-club with nightly live entertainment (cabaret to country, DJs to drag queens, up-and-comers to Broadway stars). Try the K-Pop fries with kimchi, wagyu in a blanket, mini lobster rolls with miso aioli, or hamachi crudo. Shareable plates are designed for eating without cutlery, so your eyes stay on the show. Regular events include wine and cheese nights, run clubs, burlesque, and live drawing. Corner Store stocks local brands and travel essentials bodega-style, 24/7. A lively gathering place celebrating the best bits of Hell's Kitchen.
