Hidden behind an understated doorway on Via de’ Tornabuoni, it’s a boutique jewel with rooms that tell stories - mismatched fabrics, vintage posters, and freestanding baths. It’s not about perfection here; it’s about charm. Bathrooms are spa-like, with generous rainfall showers or deep soaking tubs that make returning each evening a pleasure. Breakfast is a leisurely affair beneath frescoed ceilings and come aperitivo time, the rooftop terrace steals the show: order a Spritz and watch the terracotta rooftops glow as church bells chime in the distance. The staff don’t just check you in; they share Florence like old friends, pointing you to tucked-away trattorias and galleries you’d otherwise miss.
