Set by Copenhagen's central station in the hippest part of town, Urban House is a cool hotel-hostel hybrid that caters to travellers looking for a trendy place to stay on a budget. It’s not just for younger folk, as it’s popular with families and older guests, too. Guests are asked to do self check-in and the shared or private rooms are clean and spacious, with comfy beds and free lockers. Its funky common areas are designed to look great on social media, including the chic laundrette (its most photographed room apparently), ‘hangover room’ and tattoo shop. Rent an Urban House bike, listen to live music in the large restaurant-bar or join one of its walking tours. Sociable guests may be interested in using the app, Comundu, which enables guests to connect during their stay.
