Hotel review

The sun floods in to this chic 15-room hotel. Glass abounds; terraces are huge; views wonderful. Bedrooms are luxurious, separated from their bathrooms of grey-slate and Molton Brown toiletries by a glass wall. Portuguese specialities can be ordered in the restaurant, which also serves its own fruity olive oil and fresh juice from its orange trees. There is a choice of pools – indoor and out – and bicycles to rent.
