Amelia fell in love with the world of travel at age 18, when she took a gap year and spent 9 months exploring South Africa, Sri Lanka, India and South East Asia. Since then, she has worked and lived in Cape Town, France, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Lisbon. Her love for photography led her to win 'Photographer of the Year' award at college, and she is a keen creative writer. Amelia is trained in Early Years Education and spent six years in Hong Kong teaching English at International Schools. While living in the Far East, she was fortunate enough to travel to a plethora of countries including South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Australia and Mauritius. Her passion for exploring new places and knowledge of Asia in particular, allows her to give expert advice on the best places to stay around the world.
