Hotel Review
This delightful, privately owned guesthouse, created from a converted mansion, is as boutique as St Petersburg hotels get. Originally built in the early 19th century for a wealthy merchant, it has been tastefully and sympathetically restored. Off the beaten track but not nearly too far out to dismiss, each of the 16 rooms is inspired by a different city. The modern Russian food is well worth sampling. On summer days and nights you can dine in the outside courtyard.
