Hotel Review

These days, former cowtown Denver is the fulcrum of Colorado’s creative scene, a hub of inventive cuisine, music and art. The Ramble’s dark and sumptuous interiors offer a popular meeting spot for creative, hipster types and design mavens; a beacon of luxury based on Madame Rambouillet’s French Salons of the 17th century. The location is prime for exploring the vibrant River North Art District (RiNo), stuffed with cafes, museums, bars, restaurants and shops.

No visit is complete without dressing up a little to pull up a bar stool at Death & Co, the renowned NYC cocktail institution's second outpost. The menu is divided into three sections, ‘Bright & Confident’, ‘Elegant & Timeless’ and ‘Boozy & Honest’, and it’s a delight to read through. Try the ‘Old Sedona’, muddling Rey Camero Espadin Mezcal, Lustau Brand de Jerez, East India Solera Sherry and Averna Amaro.

Round things off with pan-Latin cuisine at Super Mega Bien (led by James Beard-nominated chef Dana Rodriguez) before drifting off to sleep in one of the 50 chic, soundproofed rooms.
