“Modern design blended with original architecture in a quieter area of Barcelona. Contemporary rooms have lots of natural light, parquet floors, and attractive furnishings. Fabulous roof top terrace bar, weekly live music, and business corner. A sophisticated but fun choice.”

Hotel Review

The designer hotel Villa Emilia is located in a residential area of Barcelona, on a quiet square but only 10 minutes walk from Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas, so the area has an authentic feel with corner cafes and bars nearby. Lively ground floor reception, Zinc bar and Bistrot restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner is served as well as coffee and snacks throughout the day. The Zinc bar also has live piano music two or three times per week. The rooftop terrace is good fun too with locals and guests enjoying beer, tapas, cocktails depending on the time of day and it’s open till 1am. Rooms are surprisingly large, well thought out and with comfy beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, air-conditioning and spacious bathrooms. Excellent value for the size and location, but don’t expect much of a view. Four stars at three star prices.
