Further afield, Falmouth offers galleries, independent shops, and a lively harbour scene. We serve lunch, afternoon tea and dinner in our dining spaces, with menus that reflect the seasons and the surrounding landscape. Expect thoughtful, ingredient-led dishes with a focus on local produce, alongside a relaxed atmosphere that feels in keeping with our setting.

For those keen to explore, there are some excellent local options: waterside pubs on the Helford, small, independent restaurants in nearby villages, and a strong food scene in Falmouth. Our team is always happy to make recommendations depending on what guests are in the mood for, whether that’s something informal and close by, or a destination dinner.

Which are your most popular room types, and why? Rooms with a connection to the outside tend to be the most sought after, particularly those with views across the gardens or golf course. Our suites and larger rooms are especially popular for longer stays, as they offer more space.

What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? Budock Vean Hotel & Spa has a long-standing reputation as a place where families feel at ease. There’s plenty of space for children to explore, from woodland trails to the river’s edge, alongside a range of activities that work across generations. Families often make use of the indoor pool, while older children can enjoy the tennis courts or learn and play on our 9-hole golf course, which offers a relaxed and accessible introduction to the game.  The hotel also partners with Koru Kayaking to offer SUP boating and kayaking trips along the Helford river from the hotel's private foreshore.

Many of our rooms can accommodate additional beds or family configurations, and we’re always happy to advise on the most suitable options depending on the age and size of the group. The environment here naturally encourages time outdoors, which tends to suit families particularly well.
