Hotel Review

Hidden away on the south eastern fringes of the Kintyre Peninsula, Carradales is a welcome addition to the local accommodation scene. A typical Scottish Victorian manse has been lovingly converted to provide four guestrooms, plus a cosy sitting room with open fire, for relaxing after a day out exploring, or if the weather isn't to your liking! Each of the guest rooms has been individually styled, but all feature designer touches, including statement wallpapers, plus complimentary Arran Aromatics toiletries and luxury en suite bathrooms that feature underfloor heating and huge stand-alone claw foot bath tubs. Breakfast is a hearty affair with traditional ingredients, and the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner too, in case you don't want to wander into town. Carradales is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful area of Scotland. There are activities galore whether you like hiking or biking, birdwatching or simply driving around the local countryside, and the owners will happily advise on where to go and what to see. A charming country guesthouse on Scotland's stunning West Coast.
