Contemporary design is given an urban edge here as referenced by ‘Bushwick,’ the ground floor coffee shop-cum-bar that’s named after the trendy Brooklyn neighbourhood. Following in that vein, the industrial-styled rooms are simple, stylish, and equipped with flat-screen TVs set up with Netflix. If pursestrings permit, pay a little more for the ‘Roomy Terrace’ and enjoy city views from your private outdoor nook; otherwise, the hotel’s rooftop – which hosts a nightly complimentary happy hour – is a leafy refuge.
