“Idyllic hotel in the Upper Engadine mountains. Guestrooms have exposed beams, mountain views worth waking up early for and charming Alpine touches. Sauna and spa treatments, some rooms have steam showers. Large bakery serving the shop (ask for a tour!), and excellent restaurant. ”

There’s a light-filled day room with Art Deco-style yellow chairs, a homely lounge with rugs, and a dining room with big windows, panelling and crimson carpet. The spa (no pool) is well designed: both the sanarium (a hybrid of sauna and steam bath) and relaxation room have great views.
