This newly built palace is first and foremost in the style of a home rather than a hotel in the style of a palace. The difference is essential; one feels like a guest rather than a paying visitor. The property has epic proportions from its two enormous courtyards, multi-levels, many terraces, and the interiors themselves are those of a stately home. 68 rooms and suites are traditionally romantic with chandeliers, painted ceilings, four poster beds and huge bathrooms. Fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinners are buffet style and mainly Indian. Every other evening dinner is a BBQ affair served by candle light in the gardens. Regal, but not too much, luxurious and homely. Swimming pool, spa, luscious gardens, bar and sitting room. A very special place to explore Ranthambore National Park from.
