Discreet luxury can be found at this gorgeous resort. High up on a hillside overlooking the glinting ocean, with steps down to a beautiful beach, you would be hard pushed to find a more desirable location for a 5 star hotel. The reception area has an exotic Balinese feel, buggies to transport less able guests, a sublimely luxe award winning spa providing extensive treatments and natural products. Dispersed in among the 31 acres of jungle-like grounds, shaded by tall palms and magnificent ancient banyan trees - are impressively designed cottages each with a unique touch and recycled antique Keralan windows and wood. One is octagonal shaped, another has a large banyan tree growing in the bathroom. All rooms have privacy, verandahs and outdoor rain showers. Café Samsara has a creative, well travelled chef producing innovative food. The restaurant, bar and infinity pool all share the same oceanic vista while the more informal Beach Shack serves wood fired pizza.
