Set in Surrey only a short drive from Heathrow and Windsor, five-star Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa offers luxury pampering breaks to couples and groups. Surrounded by 120 acres of parkland and centred around a beautiful former grand country manor, Pennyhill’s expansive, impressive spa is the main reason to visit; with its large heated outdoor and indoor swimming pools (one even playing underwater music), plus it’s never-ending array of steam rooms, saunas, ice caves, experience showers, Romanesque heated rooms, and foot spas. There are countless loungers dotted around the spa too, plus a spa bar serving champagne… perfect for a summer’s day by the pool. It may be five-star, but the vibe at Pennyhill is relaxed and low-key, thanks to having wellness at its core.

The spacious guest rooms at the hotel combine traditional period interiors with modern, luxurious touches such as rain showers and free-standing copper baths. Some of the suites even come with private outdoor cedar hot tubs or private gardens.

Also worth a mention is the professional, friendly team at Pennyhill and the hotel’s two excellent restaurants: the Michelin-starred Latymer and the more casual Hillfield.
