Since opening in 1961, Sandy Lane has been synonymous with luxury service and surroundings. Nothing has changed. The outdoor swimming pool comes with a cascading waterfall; the beach comes with service so attentive they will even polish your sunglasses whilst serving you a cold drink. The hotel is renowned for its golf courses and spa, both arguably the best in the Caribbean. Both exude exclusivity but with no stuffiness. The rooms are simply magnificent and have been renovated to include technology which will open the curtains for you. The five room villa is the piece de resistance, with its own private staff and near total seclusion. Dining is an utter treat as well, from the more formal L'Acajou to Bajan Blue; attention to detail reigns. Do not let the opulence deter children as the Treehouse club and teenagers Den are both well equipped and laid back for everyone to have fun. Possibly the final word in luxury.
