Why do people love staying in your hotel?
Guests love staying at Six Senses Crans-Montana as it offers an extraordinary blend of Alpine adventure, wellness and sustainability approach. Located just above the authentic town of Crans-Montana, our ski-in/ski-out (and bike-in/bike-out in Summer) location makes us the only five-star hotel in the region with direct access to the slopes and trails, offering a year-round immersion in nature.
Travelers today are seeking more than just a place to stay. They are prioritizing wellness, sustainability, and meaningful experiences. At Six Senses Crans-Montana, we are proud to lead this shift, embracing regenerative travel to help guests feel truly rested, reconnected, and renewed.
Our 2,500-square-meter Spa & Wellness area offers a full spectrum of experiences: from wellness screenings to our wide biohacking services. Each journey is personalized and supported with expert guidance, empowering guests to thrive well beyond their stay, thanks to our pioneering wellness innovations.
In addition to the Wellness aspect, Sustainability underpins every decision the hotel makes, shaping both what our guests experience and how we operate behind the scenes. To dive deeper, our Earth Lab offers a space for learning and inspiration, where guests can explore local initiatives, take part in sustainability workshops, and discover meaningful ways to bring these practices into everyday life.
Guests deeply value the genuine connection and authenticity that define every aspect of the Six Senses experience. Instead of a traditional concierge, each guest is personally looked after by a GEM (Guest Experience Maker) a dedicated host who helps tailor their stay, curate meaningful experiences, and ensure every detail feels effortless and just right.
Above all, Six Senses Crans-Montana is not just a place to stay. It is an all-encompassing Alpine sanctuary leaving lasting impressions.
What is there to do in the area?
Crans-Montana is a year-round playground, where every day is an adventure, and our Experience Team ensures there is always one to remember.
During the winter months, our Ski Concierge ensures a seamless start to each day, with skis and lift passes prepared so guests can head straight from the hotel to the slopes. For first-timer or a seasoned pro, personalized lessons and programs are easily arranged.
For those wanting to explore beyond the slopes, our Gourmet Snowshoeing Discovery Trail is a guest favorite. A magical way to experience the winter wonderland of Crans-Montana on foot, guided through peaceful trails with stops to enjoy traditional Valaisan dishes. Every outing is customized by our Experience Team to match each guest’s pace and preferences.
We also offer paragliding adventures year-round. In winter, the take-off takes place at sunset (with skis on) from the slopes and land on the famous golf course below. In summer, there is the opportunity to hike through alpine trails and then soar over vineyards and lakes, landing all the way down in Sierre. A truly unique way to see the region.
As the seasons change and the snow melts, the area becomes a haven for golfers, hikers, bikers, and nature lovers. We also organize sunrise and sunset hikes to the summits, with curated picnic moments in exclusive, panoramic settings. Looking for the ultimate Swiss immersion? We offer a cheesemaking experience hosted in a charming "mayen" hamlet, a lovely way to connect with the local heritage.
Ultimately, it is about more than just what to do, it is about how each experience is perceived. Six Senses is here to curate unique, meaningful moments that leave lasting memories.
What kind of breakfast do you offer?
Breakfast is proposed with a buffet featuring an array of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and a made to order à la carte menu. Guests can enjoy everything from cured meats and Alpine cheeses like Raclette and Bleu de Lens, to smoked salmon, fresh homemade yogurts, granola, and fermented vegetables. A true celebration of the Valais region and its traditions.
Our à la carte menu complements this beautifully, offering crafted dishes to suit every preference. From Freestyle Eggs, with a large choice of garnishes, to our signature Egg Burger, which layers scrambled eggs, Raclette, bacon, and truffle mayo on a homemade brioche, it’s all about balancing comfort, flavor, and nutrition. Dishes like Shakshuka with chickpeas and tomatoes, rösti with Raclette cheese, and seasonal soups such as carrot with lemongrass or ginger-infused vegetable broth offer both heartiness and healing. For a lighter morning, guests can choose pancakes with seasonal fruit, French toast, or our homemade yogurt and granola.
And for those who want to energize and strengthen from within, we proudly serve Rocket Fuel: a powerful wellness drink offered across Six Senses properties. Made entirely from natural, immunity-boosting ingredients, designed to kickstart the metabolism and support the immune system. It is strong, spicy, and medicinal in the best way. Guests often ask for the recipe, and we happily guide them to our Six Senses website, where they can learn how to recreate it at home as part of a healthier lifestyle.
Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally?
Our main restaurant, Wild Cabin, is an Alpine brasserie located at the heart of the hotel featuring a ski-in/ski-out experience in winter, and is just as inviting in summer, with an expansive open-air terrace. The menu is designed to be shared—family-style dishes made with locally sourced meat, fish, and vibrant vegetables. Lunch might feature wood-fired specialties that reflect the rustic spirit of the Alps, while dinner leans into comforting, bold flavors that bring people together around the table. The setting is warm and welcoming, and as evening falls, the brasserie’s bar becomes a relaxed space for colorful, herbal, and smoky cocktails inspired by our surroundings.
In summer, we invite guests to Le Club Alpin to enjoy seasonal bites and refreshing drinks by the Ora pool. This is our take on Alpine leisure, reimagined for warmer days.
For a truly indulgent weekend experience, we also offer a Sunday Brunch, served as a large, abundant buffet that celebrates both international favorites and regional delights, always with a Six Senses twist focused on wellness and flavor.
Which are your most popular room types, and why?
Our Terrace Rooms and Suites are among the most popular, thanks to their spacious layout and the private terrace. Guests love the feeling of stepping out into the fresh mountain air. The interiors reflect a modern Swiss chalet aesthetic, using natural materials like local larch, oak, and quartzite stone, combined with bespoke furnishings and large bay windows that flood the space with light and bring the outdoors in. They are perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for comfort, peace, and a strong connection to nature.
That said, our Four-Bedroom Chalet is a true guest favorite (especially for families and groups). It is our largest and most private accommodation, tucked into a secluded corner of the resort, yet still offering full access to all of our hotel services. With four ensuite bedrooms, spacious living areas, and a large panoramic terrace, it offers the perfect balance of privacy and togetherness. Guests appreciate the sense of independence it provides, along with the warm, homely atmosphere.
What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ?
Families are warmly welcomed at Six Senses Crans-Montana, and we offer various thoughtful touches and experiences to make sure younger guests feel just as special as the adults.
Our Grow With Six Senses kids’ club is a holistic, nature-inspired program where children can explore the world around them through fun, hands-on activities. From learning about local culture, sustainability, to simply engaging in creative play, it is designed to help them reconnect with nature all while just being kids. They then receive a GWSS passport to fill-in in every Six Senses they go to.
In terms of accommodation, we are happy to adapt rooms to suit families. For children up to 12 years old, we can transform the sofa into a comfortable bed. We also offer Family Suites, where two rooms are connected, providing both space and privacy while keeping everyone close. And for our youngest guests, we provide baby cots, perfect for dreaming about marmots and mountain adventures.
