Hotel Review
Contemporary new eco hotel, opened in 2010, the first of a new breed. Just a block from the beach, this hotel oozes deep comfort and attention to detail, from the locally sourced Farrow & Ball wall paint to the recycled wooden furnishings in the bar and the solid oak doors and ash furnishings in the bedrooms. Most are high ceilinged - this is a grade two listed building - and feature huge eco showers, stone and slate wet room style, and in the larger bedrooms standalone bathtubs in the room. Nice touches include Bose ipod speakers in every room and DVD machines on request.
The restaurant - the Green Room - attracts custom from far and wide, with ambitious but well priced tasting menus from a star chef.
