“Formerly an Aman, following its renovation, this hotel had a lot to live up to. Its style is modern Indian: ornate lattice is worked into geometric shapes, huge rooms combine contemporary furnishings with silk and the odd elephant print. There is a gourmet restaurant, idyllic pool and fabulous spa.”

Hotel Review

Located on the edge of Lutyens' Delhi, this modern hotel is a breath of fresh air in the heart of a mega-city. Outside bubbling fountains are an oasis of tranquility and the sound of running water echoes throughout. Choose from three excellent restaurants including Elan, the visually stunning OTW (On the Waterfront) and the more laid back Pool Café, all serving a variety of Indian, Asian and European dishes. The Lodhi bakery is also not to be missed! Fortunately, many of the staff have stayed on from when it was an Aman so you can expect the same level of service. An afternoon in the indulgent spa is an afternoon well spent. Sweat it out in the hammam or treat yourself to one of their signature massages. Or simply escape the hustle and bustle of Delhi in the 50m swimming pool. There are also three clay tennis courts and two squash courts if you're feeling active. Rooms are quite literally the size of small apartments (starting at 125 sq m) and all feature lounge areas, writing desks, huge floor to ceiling windows and private balconies - and many a very generous plunge pool. Whilst the two-bedroom Lodhi Premier Suites are divine and ideal for families, this is one hotel where you are certainly not missing out on anything in a standard room. Decor is modern with light, earthy palettes combined with natural materials of stone and wood. Indian accents include silk fabrics in green and blue hues with the odd elephant motif dotted about! Hire a hotel guide to show you around this expansive city; you are perfectly located here to explore the most iconic sights of Delhi!
