“A grand country house set in beautiful rural Highland Perthshire, near Blair Castle. Chic rooms are decorated with a contemporary flair. Expect dark hues, bright pops of colour, underfloor heating, and indulgent bathrooms. The contemporary Scottish restaurant is award-winning. A luxe rural hideaway.”

Hotel Review

If you are heading up the dreaded A9 or returning from the North, the Old Manse of Blair makes a very welcome pit-stop, plus the setting is picture-perfect rural Perthshire – manicured gardens, heather covered hills, big dramatic skies, sheep and Highland cattle, you can see why it’s a popular spot to be married. Recently renovated from top to bottom, the old house has had a shiny new makeover with exotic bathrooms and fantastically comfortable bedrooms. The décor is bold – blocks of colour, big mirrors and interesting artwork. Set above the property lies the main line from Perth to Inverness and what was a disused station. No longer - the owners have created some delightful bedrooms in the old ticket office, signal room and stable block with the added authenticity of the Flying Scotsman rattling past! Ten brand new bedrooms have also been cleverly incorporated in a separate modern wing on the site of the old walled garden.

With its excellent restaurant and well known chef you may well find that one night is not enough particularly as the Harrods of the North aka the House of Bruar is just up the road for all the retail therapy you could need as well as Pitlochry, and Blair Atholl with its famous castle.
