Distinctive Le Labo fragrance envelops you, entering this gloriously luxe sensory vacuum from Midtown bedlam. Boutique hotel pioneer Ian Schrager brings that hyper-luxe, hushed mood that gives EDITION properties their private-party allure.

Shared areas are dramatic, bedrooms are minimal, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing bombastic Times Square. Signature faux-fur throws drape every bed, nodding to Schrager’s mother’s fur coats. It feels once-in-a-lifetime to watch the crush this closely, safe from the chaos! Business travellers stay here, yet the vibe lands on the sexy side of sophisticated.

The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens leans into local ingredients and feels built for elevated pre-theatre dinners. The Lobby Bar calms with custom bleached-leather armchairs and silk rugs. Downstairs, the sultry Paradise Club draws world-class DJs and has the clout to host Met Gala after-parties, probably today’s closest reincarnation of Schrager’s Studio 54.
