“A grand Cotswold manor set in 12 manicured acres. Beautifully renovated rooms and suites are decorated with a fresh take on traditional design. Two restaurants (headed by a two-star Michelin chef) and a full-service spa with a hydrotherapy pool, make this ideal for a couples escape.”

Hotel Review

Whatley Manor has all the markings of a spoiling country escape. Within individually styled rooms and suites original features remain, including beamed ceilings and hardwood floors, but the feel is now fresh and modern. The best suites are split-level and additional touches such as complimentary homemade biscuits and elderflower cordial in all the rooms show the level of attention to detail here.

Many come for the restaurants alone. The Dining Room has been awarded a Michelin Green Star (a new award for a restaurant's sustainable credentials), 4 AA rosettes, and the famed chef Niall Keating currently holds two Michelin stars. Suffice to say, the food is innovative and exciting. The Grey's Brasserie offers a more casual experience with shared plates and an à la carte menu.

A well-equipped day spa with an indoor/outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a thermal suite, salt scrub showers, and an extensive treatment list ensures guest leave feeling completely rejuvenated.

An adults-only space (dogs are very welcome) well suited to a couples' escape or a spa weekend getaway with friends.
