“A charming cottage set in a particularly picturesque corner of Dorset. A handful of rooms are simply and traditionally dressed with exposed beams, whitewashed walls and light-wooden furniture. Downstairs, cosy lounges are warmed by roaring fires and the restaurant serves superb gourmet dishes. ”

Yalbury Cottage

Rooms in this family-owned thatched cottage couldn’t be further removed from the today's modish rural chic aesthetic, nor from those of a rustic retreat. They’re modest, clean, comfortable at best. But then, Yalbury Cottage is not about the rooms. It’s the restaurant and lush Hardy countryside that really entice.
