Fasano is a Philippe Starck-designed retro-chic paradise, with fifties and sixties furniture in spacious, airy bedrooms boasting uninterrupted views of Rio's legendary Ipanema Beach. The rooftop bar and pool are superb - as are the restaurant and spa. Exceptional.
